The Carmen Thyssen Museum celebrated, on 16 March, the expected inauguration of its museum in the Principality of Andorra. 15 March 2017. This is the envisaged date of the forthcoming public opening of the new Carmen Thyssen Museum Andorra. Located in the town of Escaldes-Engordany, on the ground floor of the one of Andorra’s most emblematic buildings, the former Hotel Valira, this new exhibition space will be joining the list of the collector’s other museums –those of Madrid and Málaga- which display the legendary art collection of the Thyssen family.
