Sotheby’s International Realty, inroads in the Asian market with Juwai.com

Last September, Sotheby’s International Realty announced the signing of its alliance with Juwai.com, the benchmark real estate portal of the Asian market and one of the strongest portals in the world. With the signing of this important agreement, which forms part of the Sotheby’s International Realty worldwide expansion process, the luxury property firm has managed to gain entry into the highly demanding Asian realty market. A sector that is clearly on the rise and currently has a vast portfolio of clients who are interested in purchasing luxury properties.
This enterprise, which involves an alliance with one of the most important real estate websites in Asia and in the world, –the visits to Juwai.com have increased an average of nearly 80% in the past year–, not only strengthens Sotheby’s expansion process into the Asian market, but also guarantees the promotion of Sotheby’s properties on a top-notch portal. The aim? No more and no less than to attract future buyers from Asia.
Once this agreement was reached, the Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC Marketing Director, Wendy Purvey, asserted that the corporation is working constantly to expand the business model to other countries, and in this sense, underscored that “the alliance with Juwai.com gives us better access to a market that is already one of our most important markets, and which promises great future growth”. She also recalled that “one of Juwai.com’s key advantages is that its ads are visible online both within China and outside of China”.
One in every ten visitors is located in China
One fact that must be greatly taken into account is that today 1 of every 10 visitors to sothebysrealty.com is located in China. Hence, the agreement with Juwai.com will enable Sotheby’s International Realty to strengthen the brand’s presence in a sector that is clearly on the rise.
Among other things, this alliance will include property viewing listings, real-time replies to the questions of Chinese buyers, the link to the website of the brand -which includes a contact form and advertising banners.
