The magical world of the Cirque du Soleil in Andorra
22/06/2016
Cirque du Soleil are back in Andorra for yet another year with a new show, “VISION”, narrating the close link between a boy and his little sister, a story that reflects Andorra’s true family values.
Cirque du Soleil in Andorra: a unique story
“VISION” is a story that has been thought up and designed both for and about Andorra. Few countries in the world have been so privileged that the internationally recognised Cirque du Soleil company has created a show, tailor made for them, including elements of the cosmogony, culture and the very nature of the country itself.

A unique show in Europe, different from anything seen before
For the fourth year in a row, Cirque du Soleil have dreamt up a moving story, packed with acrobatic thrills and set within an incomparable scenic frame.
A little girl, guided by her instinct, becomes lost in a surreal world, filled with futuristic elements, on a journey trapped between reality and fiction, while her brother, caught up in his own adventures, looks for her. The two will encounter elements of both their own imagination and their home town, transported into the future.
A story in which the odds are overcome and where instinct and the close links that bind brother and sister together are key to their meeting again.
This year video plays a leading role in the show, aimed at the creation of an all-encompassing atmosphere. The cutting edge technology applied to the lighting also drives the narrative development with tremendous creativity and precision.
Both of these represented worlds have their own musical compositions, providing a true reflection of the wonderful musical experience that is Cirque du Soleil.
The costumes, an aspect in which Cirque du Soleil habitually shine, are inspired in both worlds, offering a faithful reflection of the imagination and reality of each one.

Quality is not an action, it is a habit …Daniel Lamarre
At the recent Global Networking Event 2016, organised by Sotheby’s International Realty in Las Vegas, Daniel Lamarre, Cirque du Soleil’s President and CEO, the speaker and guest of honour, inspired all of those present, reinforcing the importance of premium positioning and providing a strong defence of innovation.
This offers a partial explanation of the success that this small Canadian entertainments company, which came into being in 1984, has managed to maintain over the years.
Among their major artistic milestones you can find the shows: Saltimbanco (1992-2012), Alegría (1994-2013), La Nuba (1998 – and still playing), among others.
