The star races: Super Giant and Combined Downhill

The Alpine Combine, as its name suggests, consists of an SG and an SL stage and will be held on Sunday 28 February. This particular race brings together the downhill speed of an SG followed by a slalom run, where the effort is more technical.
“A leading country for top-level sporting events”
In a recent interview published in the national press, the Manager of Andorra Turisme, Betim Budzaku, said: “Organising a World Cup is a privilege”. He added: “Alpine skiing is a very specialised focus of attention and, with the World Cup, we reach a premium level for all fans of this sport. And a World Cup being organised on these runs automatically determines that this run – this skiing destination – is of optimum quality, which provides positioning.”
